History of this Wine: the Due Parole grapes come from a small parcel of the Ottonese vineyard. These are centenary ungrafted vines, planted in 1919 on sandy soil in Contrada San Martino in Priverno. Over the years many plants have been renewed through offshoots. The label designed by our friend illustrator Giovanni Simoncelli, narrates a timeline in which the different passages of the baton in the management of the vineyard are marked. It starts from 1919, when Domenico Antonio D’Amici (paternal great-grandfather of Emiliano), back from the great war, planted the first vines, passing through 1940, the year in which grandfather Costantino Giorgi married Agostina D’Amici daughter of Domenico Antonio and began to cultivate it. The timeline passes to 1987, the year in which uncle Mario began to take care of the vineyard, up to 2017, the first year of management of Sete.
