Vinification:
Freaky was born in 2014, a year marked by incessant rain that put the two small vineyards of an elderly gentleman we were managing at the time to a harsh test. Downy mildew gave no respite, and at the time of harvest, there were so few healthy grapes that we decided not to separate them: we vinified white and red grapes together in a single mass. The result was a surprise so happy that it became a tradition.
Since then, every harvest is a balancing act: we combine different white and red varieties, adapting the composition to what the vineyard and the vintage decide to give us.
Tasting notes:
Vibrant red fruits and a dynamic freshness. It is a wine born for conviviality, with excellent drinkability that makes every sip a fun and carefree experience.
Whether it’s for a quick aperitif, a light lunch, or a dinner with friends, Freaky goes well with everything, but it’s also great on its own. 🙂
